Ten Youth Ambassadors have been working hard to fund raise for very important causes as part of their roles for this year’s Festival of International Understanding.
Each of them will be formally presented at this Friday night’s FOIU Opening Dinner, which is the main event to kick start the weekend’s FOIU festivities.
They paid a visit to Parliament House in Canberra on March 13 where they had the opportunity to hold a meeting with Senator Perin Davey.
Senator Davey gave them an insider’s view of the operation of the Press Gallery and each of the Youth Ambassadors had the opportunity to tell her about the festival, the organisations they represent and the charities they are working to raise funds for as part of the Youth Ambassador program.
