The Henley Scholarship is the generosity of the Tom and Margaret Henley Trust to promote and encourage tertiary education for students of Cowra High School and St Raphael’s Catholic College.
It is a once-only grant which applies to the first year of tertiary education at a university or an apprenticeship or TAFE course following secondary schooling.
The Rotary Club of Cowra is the trustee and invites all students who next year will be enrolling in a university, apprenticeship or TAFE course to apply.
The eligible grant amounts this year will be:
University, first year only - $5000.
Apprenticeship/TAFE, first year only - $1000.
Applicants are invited to apply if they haven’t already at their schools by phoning Secretary Bill Murphy on 0417211364 or Kit Chambers on 63429260 or 0456425260.
Interested applicants may also send an email to cowrarotaryclub@gmail.com requesting an application form.
We thank the generosity and wonderful idealism of Tom and Margaret Henley who started this grant program in 2003.
University applications must be made as soon as possible. Apprenticeship and TAFE applications are due by the 15th January, 2022, but preferably as soon as possible.
