Easter Markets

Did you see the Easter Bunny? Over 400 people attended our Community Markets on Easter Saturday and we would have to say it was one of our most successful days ever. Cowra itself was hopping with full caravan parks and accommodation throughout the town, which is wonderful for our local economy.

Behind the Scenes Assistance

We have many dedicated members who seem tireless in their energy levels when it comes to working for Cowra Community Chest. Thanks to all those who assist with the Markets, putting the Return and Earn bottles and cans through the depot and also collect and organise battery recycling to raise funds.

Of course, we also have our Management Committee who monitor Chest practises and determine policy and our three Assessment Panels, who make decisions as to the allocation of our funds to clients.

All these people are generous volunteers and what an inspiring example they are of how an organisation can succeed and grow stronger over many years.

Long Term Clients

Our clients come from many different circumstances and some of them require ongoing assistance. We are able to assist families when financial need becomes overwhelming. Payments of regular expenses such as pharmacy bills or repeated consultations with specialists are just two examples of the way Cowra Community Chest can step in when the need is greatest.

Meetings

Cowra Bowling Club supports us by making space available for our monthly meetings. If you would like to attend meetings they are held at 5pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, except January.
