Cowra has celebrated the achievements of its business community, with over 280 people gathering for the 2021 Cowra Business Awards at the Showground Pavilion last Saturday night.

The evening was a huge success, being one of the highest attended indoor events in Cowra since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The major award winners on the night were Cowra Vet Centre, who took out Excellence in Small Business, and Café Ruze, who took out Excellence in Micro Business (5 or less employees).

Cowra Business Chamber President Jordan Core said it was great for Cowra busi-nesses to gather in high numbers again and celebrate their achievements through tough times over the past year.

Bob Griffiths was inducted into the CBC Honours Roll. “The Cowra Business Chamber would like to take a moment to congratulate the winners,” he said.

“This event would not be possible without the support of our local businesses, their customers, our community and our incred-ible sponsors and supporters.”
