Choral Workshops and Club Choir The Vocals Sections of the Cowra Eisteddfod will commence on Thursday 16th May with the Junior Vocal Sections - and the Adult Vocal will be from Friday 7pm Session to Sunday 19th May.
Adjudicator for the Vocal Sections this year is Jonathon Welsh AM, who is well known for his work with the Choir of Hard Knocks.
At the conclusion of the Adult Vocal Sections Mr Welsh will remain in Cowra to conduct a Vocal Master Class and a Vocal Workshop, and a Club Choir.
The Vocal Master Class will be held at the Uniting Church from 4 to 6pm on Monday 20th May. This will be held on Monday 20th May and will be open to anyone who is interested. This will be followed by a Choral Workshop from 6:30 to 9pm at the Uniting Church - also open to anyone who is interested.
On Tuesday 21st a Club Choir will be held at Club Cowra from 6 to 8pm, which again will be conducted by Jonathon Welsh. Bookings are necessary for this event and tickets can be purchased at the Club for $20 per person. Early bookings are recommended as numbers will be limited and catering needs to be organised. What a wonderful opportunity for the people of Cowra and district.
