Last Saturday, Cowra had an individual stableford sponsored by Waugoola Motors. Jim Brown made a blistering 43 points to lead all contenders and take out A grade while Harold Bryant enjoyed a return to form with 38 points to claim B grade.
On Sunday we had the Volkswagen Scramble sponsored by Orange Volkswagen. It was a very hotly contested event with the top eight teams all within three shots. Congratulations to Mitch Shepherd, Mick Thompson, Jacob Moodie and Jack Nobes for winning the day while Dean Schofield, Mat McKnight, Ryan Terry and Peter Maher ran 2nd. Both teams will now advance to the re-gional final to be held in April.
