Cowra Lions Tertiary Scholarship

Cowra Lions Club will again be offering two Scholarships for 2nd year Tertiary Students studying in 2022.

Two scholarships will be provided with the condition that one is for a student from Cowra High and the other from St Raphael’s Catholic School. The Scholarship is a once only contribution of $1,000 to each individual for their second continuing year of full-time tertiary studies at the same institution or if in a different institution, being the same course of study, subject to the applicant having achieved a minimum of a credit average in the first year of that same course.

If applications are only received from students who have completed their HSC from one school two scholarships may be awarded. A condition of applying is that the students Higher School Certificate must have been completed at a High School in Cowra. Cowra Lions would also appreciate a brief report from each successful student at the conclu-sion of the 2nd Year of studies.

Applications close on 17 January 2022. Successful students will be advised no later than 11 February 2022. The award of the scholarship funds will be made one month after commencement of the second year of study.
