The Cowra Motorcycle Racing Club is hosting a park ride day on Saturday February 25 at the Woodstock Park Speedway, with anyone interested in a social ride being invited to attend. Ride park days do not require drivers to hold club membership or a motorcycle licence, and serve as an opportunity for people interested in riding to do so in a safe, non-competitive and controlled environment.
“No licence, no club membership – no worries. Ride Park Days are safe and controlled non-competition riding days where families, friends and kids of all abilities can enjoy social riding,” said Belinda from the CMRC.
The event is available for riders of all ages, with groups for beginner, intermediate and experienced categories.
At time of booking or at the event, participants will have an option to purchase Personal Accident coverage and it is highly recommended.
Riders must wear a helmet, goggles/visor, gloves, jersey and pants or suit. Helmets must be in good condition with no damage compromising the safety protection of the helmet
Body armour is recommended especially for junior off-road riders. Gates open at 3pm, with the long track starting at 4pm, and the speedway track starting at 6:30pm under lights.
Full canteen facilities will be open on the day (cash only). The cost for seniors is $70, and juniors are $50.
