Playing Netball has been at the top of Mackinlee Charnock’s list since she was 7 years old and she is stoked to be back on the courts this season.

Why Netball?
It gives me the opportunity to spend time with my friends, build new friendships and have fun.

What team are you in this year?
My team is Eureka Plants and Beth Gordon is my amazing coach!

What do you think is the best thing about playing in a team sport?
The best thing about playing in a team is pushing myself out of my comfort zone, taking on new challenges, playing different positions and working together on and off the court by giving my team positive en-couragement.

Which netball player do you look up to and why?
The netballer I look up to the most would be Australian International player Susan Pettit. I attended susans netball clinic a few years ago. She gave us country kids the opportunity to develop our skills by teaching us different drills that helped us take our next step in our netball journeys. Susan is such a positive role model to look up to.
