IN a real coup for the Cowra Shire, the Cowra Phoenix, part of the Phoenix Newspaper Group will publish it’s first issue in February 2021.
For Director, Josh Matic, the Cowra Phoenix will be an “entertaining, informative and engaging” like sister publications through the state.
“We’ve had great success in other shires such as Parkes and Forbes with our magazine style publication,” Josh said.
“Communities enjoy the punchy, sharp content and easy to navigate style,” he said.
“We do what we do and try to be effective doing it.”
Unlike other media organisations, the Phoenix will be a free weekly publication available each Friday and offer video advertising options for online use to help local business get more mileage post COVID.
“It’s one of a kind and we look forward to servicing and communicating to the shire and building a strong community,” said Josh.
