Cowra Regional Library is trialling new opening hours from the 2nd of September 2024, with extended weekday times and additional hours on Saturdays.

This will be a trial to test whether the extended hours will be utilised by our residents and if successful will become permanent.

The new hours during weekdays will be extended by one hour opening from 9.30am to 6.00pm, an additional four and a half hours will be seen on Saturdays with hours changing to allow the library to be open from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

The Cowra Regional Library hosts many events throughout the year and is an inviting space for all. Events hosted at the library range from rhyme time, story time, author talks and many school holiday activities.

Council urges community members to visit the library from the 2nd of September if they wish to help aid the trial and see these hours be implemented permanently.
