The wet weather held off long enough for Cowra and District Junior Soccer and Cowra Junior Rugby League to hold their presentations over the weekend. Many pint sized players braved the chilly temperature to take their well earned trophies home along with a warm sausage sizzle. Junior league celebrated their under 6’s -10’s at Sid Kallas leaving one final presentation still to come for their league tag sides.
While some events went ahead, Cricket suffered another weekend of games be-ing called off due to the weather giving the start to their season another push back.
Cowra Athletics are pushing ahead with their first night of competition being held on the 2nd of December and there is still time to register your child to compete. It’s not too late to get involved and the club is welcoming newcomers.
Cowra Amateur Swimming Club is in full swing as they take to the water for this season. They are gearing up for the Parkes Carnival being held on December 5th.
With more wet weather predicted for the tail end of this week it’s predicted that matches and events may continue to be cancelled.
