Cowra Shire Council Election new candidate, Sharon D’Elboux has announced her top priority is lifting Cowra’s economy. Ms D’Elboux has over 20 years’ experience in supporting and attracting business, creating jobs and securing investment across the central west.
“Cowra is my hometown. It would be wonderful to be able to apply my skillset to grow the economy of the Shire” said Ms D’Elboux.
Residents of Cowra continue to identify the need for more business and employment opportunities. “Now is the time to take steps to lift the local economy. We must begin now as it will take time” said Ms D’Elboux.
“The call to action will involve collaboration in the Council Chamber to set a deliberate direction for the Shire’s future economic position” said Ms D’Elboux. Ms D’Elboux and her husband have already bought one new business to town. In 2018, they moved their family business from Orange to Cowra. Z Power, a motorcycle parts and accessories business with an online shop and retail shop at 120 Taragala Street.
