Eisteddfod Ends With Bang At Grand Concert
The 2023 Cowra Eisteddfod finally wrapped up on Saturday evening the 17th June, with the Grand Concert of Prize Winners being held at the Civic Centre.
Competition began on the 3rd May with the Speech & Drama sections, then followed by the Instrumental and Vocal sections before ending on the 4th June with the Dance sections.
The Grand Concert featured a number of prize- winning solo and group acts, plus the presentation of money prizes to championship and scholarship winners following their final performances.
A panel of 3 judges chose the winner of the Most Entertaining Act on the night, with the winner of the magnificent Alma Hopkins trophy going to pianist Zachary Li from Nicholls ACT.
