Hannah Stone Wins Bendigo Bank Scholarship
Cowra High School student Hannah Stone has received a scholarship of $1000 from Bendigo Bank for her to spend on her arts studies.
Ms Stone, who is in year 11, said she will put the funds towards subject expenses, such as art materials, and to help her prepare for her HSC next year.
She said she was extremely grateful for Bendigo Bank’s support of her passion, and that she was most interested in pursuing work in abstract art.

Ms Stone was officially presented with her scholarship at the Cowra Bendigo Bank agency on Friday May 20 by Bendigo Bank Gilgandra & District Community Bank Mobile Relationship Manager Belinda Magee. The funding was provided by the Gilgandra & District Community Bank, which Cowra falls under, as part of Bendigo Bank’s 2022 Scholarship program, which is delivered through local Community Banks.

The scholarships - primarily funded by the Bank’s Community Bank network - can be used by recipients to help finance the cost of travel, accommodation, tutoring, course materials or study equipment. These include:
