With the encouragement from behind the whistle, the players are able to develop their skill, all while having some fun.
“Spirits are high considering the restrictions we had last year, as well as the shortened season.” A spokesperson for the club said.
Numbers aren’t as high as the club would like them to be this year, but it hasn’t dampened the spirits of the players.
With the loss of the last two yearly gala days, the club are looking forward to running it this year, with the event bringing a whopping 250 primary school children together to give Hockey a go. The players have their sights firmly set on the upcoming winter competition.
