Meet Best-Selling Author Judy Nunn At Club Cowra
On Tuesday, September 26 at 10.30 am, bestselling author Judy Nunn will launch her most recent novel, Black Sheep, at Club Cowra. There is a black sheep in every fam-ily, and Judy Nunn’s latest bestseller is a grand historical tale of an affluent sheep-farming family and the mysterious young man they allowed into their lives.
The Shearers’ Strike of 1891 and the early days of the unions (as well as the origins of the present Labour Party) are featured prominently in this novel by Judy, which like all of her works brings Australian history to life. The Australian sheep industry, which stretches from Queensland to Goulburn, serves as the book’s setting
Judy Nunn has had a tremendously successful stage and television career in Australia, best known for her appearances in Sons and Daughters, Prisoner, and, of course, Home and Away. She began writing prose 30 years ago and has since published 17 novels and a collection of short stories.
The event is free, but reservations are required. Please reserve your spot online at https://tinyurl.com/JudyNunn-Cowra2023 or by calling Cowra Library at 6340 2180
