Morongla Red Cross News

Recently the Morongla Red Cross held their annual Flower Show at the Morongla Hall with entertainment, afternoon tea and 70th birthday celebrations.

Socially and financially the afternoon was very successful and enjoyed by the large crowd.

Thanks to the flower judges. The flowers were spectacular.

Barbara Rocovert won Champion Arrangement with a red and white 70 arrangement.

There were many cuts- geraniums, pelargoniums, roses, iris and many other flowers.

The entertainers, Andy, Lucy and Tony were wonderful - their music was amazing and singing was very good.

During the afternoon President Della presented Sarah Langfield her red cross badge. She is the youngest member.

Secretary Barbara read the history of the Morongla Red Cross. Patrons Mary Binnington and Myrtle Wright cut the birthday cake. Everyone sung Happy Birthdy. Thanks to all members and friends that helped and donated.
