New Shade Cloths Unveiled at Woodstock Lions Park
The children of Woodstock will no longer need to worry about piping hot play equipment as the town successfully secured funds via the NSW Government Club Grant to construct a shade over the Lions Park playground.
The locals are elated and there are growing hopes that the updates will attract more families to come and visit the township. With sun safety always a concern for parents, the new shade can ease their worries and provide a safe space for children to enjoy their spare time in the village and potentially keep them off their screens for a little while longer.
As the tight knit community works hard to keep the village progressing, their efforts are paying off as they accomplish small milestones, one after the other continuing to steadily move Woodstock further ahead.
It’s reported that the exciting new addition to the playground isn’t the only improvement on the horizon with more plans in the works for the township. The project was undertaken by the Woodstock Progress Association, with the grant funding being $32,747.
