Presentation Of National Emergency Medal With Clasp

At the November meeting of the Cowra RSL sub-branch, member Andrew Saywell, was presented with the National Emergency Medal with clasp by Major Geoff Wooldridge (Retired).

This medal is in recognition of Andrew’s contributions during the bushfires of 2019 and 2020 with the Army Reserve. Andrew was a member of the Army Cadets during high school under Major Wooldridge, then transferred to the Army Reserve when he left school. He is currently an inactive member on leave from the Army Reserve as he undertakes an apprenticeship.
