School Holidays At The Cowra Library

Cowra Library has planned some free, fun and fantastic activities for the July School Holidays with:

Budding Bakers

Wednesday 10 July 2pm - 3pm Ages 8+ Step into the Cowra Library Kitchen to make your own yummy bread with fresh ingredients! Learn how to bake in our brand new oven (we might do some yummy scones too!). All ingredients will be provided, so join us as we measure, stir and cook our way to yumminess!All materials are provided.

Stop-Motion Animation

Friday 12 July 10am – 11.30am Ages 8+ Become a film-maker for a day, and join us at Cowra Library as we bring Lego, clay, toys and junk to life using Stop-Motion Animation.

We will be learning about frame rates, effective visual communication, ways to lead the audience’s gaze, and simple special effects.

Origami

Wednesday 17 July 2 - 3pm Ages 7+ Join us at Cowra Library for a fun afternoon of art and experimentation, as we practice the Japanese paperfolding art of Origami.

Learn how to take a square of paper and turn it into an animal, a shape, or something completely unexpected! All materials are provided.

Sand ArtFriday 19 July 2pm - 3pmAges 7+Calling all junior artists! We’re all about the A in STEAM!Use your arty skills to create a colourful sand masterpiece to take home.
