The Morongla Red Cross held the annual meeting in a Covid safe manner at the Morongla Hall with Elected President Della Toohey, Secretary Barbara Langfield, Treasurer Julie Whitby, and Patrons Myrtle Wright and Jean Langfield. At the monthly meeting it was decided not to hold the Flower Show usually held this time of year. The next meeting will be Wednesday November 3rd at Morongla Hall, commencing 1:30pm.

Recently the Morongla C.W.A. Ladies held a Covid Safe meeting at the Morongla Hall. The annual followed by the monthly. Elected at the Annual was President Carolyn Cameron, Secretary Julie Whitby, Treasurer Kelton Wilson, Patrons Myrtle Wright and Mary Binnington, Handicraft Officer Barbara Langfield, Cultural Officer Della Toohey, Cooking Officer Heather Sutherland, International Officer Susan Nancarrow, and Environmental Officer Barbara Kocavert. The next meeting will be Wednesday November 3rd at Morongla Hall, commencing 1:30pm.
Support Package A Game Changer For Economic Recovery In Western NSW
A $500 million support package to revive the events and tourism industry across NSW will be a game changer that will turbo charge a post COVID economic recovery, according to the state’s peak business organisation, Business NSW.
Premier Dominic Perrottet has announced the package, which includes each adult being provided a $50 voucher to spend on accommodation anywhere in the State.
“Business NSW has been telling Government since the start of the pandemic that different industries were being impacted in different ways, but the tourism, hospitality and events sector has been the hardest hit,” said Business NSW Regional Manager – Western NSW, Vicki Seccombe

NSW Embraces November 1 Roadmap Milestone
As of Monday, fully vaccinated residents have been able to travel for holidays and recreation between Greater Sydney and regional NSW, bookings for hospitality venues are no longer capped and fully vaccinated travellers from overseas can enter NSW without having to quarantine, subject to Commonwealth border restrictions.
