Rugby Union – Cowra Eagles suffered a blow this weekend with 1st Grade losing to Orange Emus at 15-3 and 2nd Grade going down 10-24 to the Emus. The Eagles face Forbes Platypi on Saturday right here on home ground.
AFL – Cowra Blues won against Bathurst Bushranger Outlaws 16.10-106 vs 4.2-25. The Blues come up against Parkes Panthers next Satur- day at North Parkes Oval.
Netball – Two teams participated in the Parkes Carnival. Under 15’s de-feated Parkes 22-5 and Under 13’s won against West Wyalong 26-2.
Junior League – Under 12’s defeated Panthers 10-0, Under 13’s lost to Panthers 26-18, Under 14’s dominated St Pat’s 48-4 and Under 15’s lost to Panthers 32-12. League Tag- Under 11’s won against Wallerewang 46-30, Under 13’s won at 26-24 and opens took down Blayney 36-6.
