Two teams from Cowra will be heading down to Bankstown for the senior state titles over the long weekend. The U17’s along with coach Tiffany Tamati and manager Bonnie keys will compete in division 4 and play 14 games while the U15’s along with their coach Karen Reid and manager Nicola Hudson will head into 17 matches over 3 days in division 3. The titles bring together the best of the representative sides from across the region to play the game they love in an intrastate competition. U15’s coach Ka-ren Reid says “We are looking forward to seeing our players put the skills they have learned during practice to work on the courts.” With each age group having multiple divisions, it is shaping up to be an action packed weekend on the Bankstown courts. We wish the girls the best of luck in their matches on the weekend.
