The Lolly Lady has achieved what many other retail businesses have not by opening a new store during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Business owner Tabetha Egan said she wanted to create a place for young children to spend time in and enjoy themselves in eating the tastiest lollies around. She officially opened the store on October 11, and said the response so far has been overwhelming.

“It’s proved to be really popular for Cowra, and we’ve had a huge response,” she said.

“There’s not many places, apart from cafes, that you can take kids to spend a few dollars and where they can enjoy themselves.”

Tabetha first started her business online in March this year, and set up a stall at the monthly Cowra Community markets. The Lolly Lady carers for all generations young and old, and stocks all types of lollies, including the most popular American brands.

They’re located opposite Café Ruze in the Logan Court.
