Upstart Opens This Saturday At Cowra Regional Art Gallery

Featuring a diverse showcase of artworks by talented young artists in stages 5 and 6 from nine high schools across the Central West, UpStart 2024 will open on Saturday 23 November at 2.30pm.

The event will be officially opened by Cr Paul Smith, Mayor, Cowra Shire Council, and include the presentation of the upstART24 Awards.

Cowra Regional Art Gallery is proud to encourage and support the artistic skills and creativity of young and aspiring artists through its annual survey youth art exhibition upstART.

This year’s exhibition has a diverse range of artworks on display including painting, drawing, photomedia, mixed media, ceramics and sculpture.

Schools participating this year are Blayney High School; Boorowa Central School; Canowindra High School; Cowra High School; Hennessy Catholic College, Young; The Henry Lawson High School, Grenfell; Holman Place School, Cowra; James Sheahan Catholic High School, Orange; St Raphael’s Catholic School, Cowra.
