The Cowra Tourism Corporation is bringing back its popular Wine & Forage tour this year for the first time since pre-COVID. The tour will offer visitors the chance to enjoy fine food and wine of the Cowra and Canowindra region whilst meeting the producers at the farm gate and cellar doors along the way.

Prior to COVID-19 the CTC operated numerous Wine & Forage tours seasonally for a couple of years and they proved extremely popular.

The tour will visit Rosnay Organic Wines, Wallington Wines, Antonio’s Wines, Windowrie Estate, The Quarry Restaurant & Cellar Door, Glen Donald Estate, and also feature food from The Shared Table.

Departing from the Cowra Visitor Information Centre, the full day tour includes a wine tasting experience featuring Antonio’s Wines and produce from Glen Donald Estate at The Quarry Restaurant & Cellar Door, a visit to Wallington Wines before heading to Ros-nay Organic for wine and gourmet lunch boxes provided by The Shared Table and ending with a wine tasting at Windowrie Estate.

“Our team are incredibly excited to bring the Cowra Wine & Forage Tour back for the first time since the pandemic. The tours were a huge success when we ran them last, proving popular with visitors and locals from around the region,” said Cowra Tourism Manager, Kurt Overzet. The 2023 Cowra Wine & Forage Tour will take place on the 15th of April. Tickets are $115 per person and spaces are limited.
